Tour de France

The Tour de France is the world’s most famous cycling race. It tests riders to the limits with an overall race distance over 2,200 miles. The race stages last for 3 weeks around France with the finale of along the Champs Elysees in Paris.

4 Day Break – Itinerary

  • Friday 23rdJuly 2010 – Local departure by coach then onwards to the Paris area for a three-night stay.
  • Saturday 24th July 2010 – Paris (included); A full day in the ‘city of lights’. Join our optional guided sightseeing tour seeing many of the major sights. Our optional cruise along the River Seine is another great way to see this amazing city. In the evening join our optional visit to the Latin Quarter where you can enjoy a meal and drink in one of the many restaurants and bars. B
  • Sunday 25th July 2010 – Tour de France Finale (included). A full day in the French capital to witness the climax of Europe’s most gruelling race, and savour the excitement of the ‘grand finale’ on the Champs Élysées. The final stage has been held here since the Tour’s creation in 1903. There’s free time to wander around the circuit, taking in the atmosphere as the riders race their way towards a nail-biting finish. B
  • Monday 26th July 2010 – To Calais, then return home. B
